Why a NOBCO coach?

The Dutch Association of Professional Coaches (NOBCO) is the largest independent professional organization for professional coaching in the Netherlands. The demand for coaches in the business and private markets is rising. The supply of coaches is also on the rise. Individuals and organizations are looking for certainty and the market increasingly demands transparency through certification.

A certified NOBCO coach:

  • is trained for the coaching profession;
  • works according to the International Code of Ethics and is accountable for this through a complaints procedure;
  • Has coaching experience and makes it testable and visible with certification;
  • Maintains the profession through continuing education and peer review or supervision.

You are more likely to have a good experience with a coach who has signed the International Code of Ethics and is accountable through a grievance procedure.

With an individual EIA certification you demonstrate that you meet quality requirements and that you continue to develop in your profession. You reflect on yourself and your own actions, for example through peer review or supervision. And of course you follow the International Code of Ethics and the Diversity Declaration. You as a coache can be sure that a coach with EIA certification is competent enough to work with you.
